Prem has more than 20 years of experience in the IT/Networking infrastructure industry and is a registered communications distribution designer (RCDD) with certification. He has held a variety of positions and projects at several organizations in the Middle East. He began working at Siemon in 2010, and through time, he advanced to the position of Director of the IMEA region. Prem’s responsibility as a regional head is to increase profitability for the IMEA region, which is a crucial market for Siemon globally from a strategic standpoint. Prem plays a key role in helping The Siemon Company create new innovative ventures and strategic businesses.

Prem, a dedicated manager, leader, and thinker, brings a plethora of experience to the table. His coworkers regard him as a kind and inspiring leader. Prem has always been a tech enthusiast and is interested in learning more about the newest technologies, even though he oversees the operations of three sizable regions. He possesses in-depth technical and business knowledge in creating, incubating, and commercializing enterprise-scale technologies in fields including data centers and smart buildings.

He believes in applying democratic leadership approach & team management which is consensus-based and empowers them, so that they can put forward their ideas, thoughts, and opinions and what they share is valued. This makes them feel more confident, honest, and valuable as they get the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company.

Post-covid changes in the industry

Post-Covid demand for remote working and the need for collaborating solutions has led to re-thinking how business technology can be adopted at a faster pace. The industry has become even more demanding and conscious in all aspects – higher technology, superior quality, and better Return on Investments (ROI) and Total cost of ownership (TCO). In some aspects, the industry is more commoditized in certain areas.
