DT is an all-in-one platform for students preparing for various entrance exams throughout their journey of becoming a doctor. Apart from this, we are the most affordable platform in the entire industry, which makes us the first choice for most students.
In your opinion, what do you consider to be the most challenging aspect of working in the educational industry? Furthermore, as a leader within your organisation, what are the key decisions that you priorities?
The most challenging aspect is to keep up with the latest developments in the field and to update our teaching material accordingly. This is done to ensure that students do not miss out in any way. It is a daily process, and we have a separate team of medical doctors whose sole responsibility is content creation, rectification and updation. We have more than 2000 hrs of videos and 75,000 MCQS across all courses at the moment.
Key decisions: Decisions are always taken based on feedback and the requirements of our students. Students are our first priority, and all decisions are taken with the intent of making their preparation journey smoother, precise and without hurdles.
When considering your company, what accomplishment or aspect fills you with the most pride?
Launching our NEET SS course at the same time as our competitors (who have been in the industry for 5+ years longer than us) and emerging as a clear winner in that particular course filled us with pride and joy). It validated our efforts and also proved that we are better at implementation than most of our competitors.
How do you encourage creative thinking within your organization?
Ideation process is very well appreciated at our company. We allow everyone to put across their ideas on the table whenever they have one, and all these ideas are seriously discussed by the founders. No one is shut out We believe that this makes the workplace ethos fresh and exciting.
Throughout your journey, what have been the major obstacles you’ve faced and successfully overcome?
Catering to the needs of every student is challenging , but I am glad that we have taken this heads on. Having 2l+ student use our platform opens us up to a lot of feedback and complex requirements underlying the necessity of customized solutions.. We love having this obstacle as it only helps us to improve our product day by day and will help us to emerge as a clear winner in the medical ed-tech industry.
Specifically pertaining to DocTutorials, what aspect or achievement are you particularly proud of?
Being considered a threat by legacy companies in this industry makes us feel very happy. It keeps us motivated and on our toes. It ensures that we are able to give our students the best in class training and medical education. We are proud to say that we have achieved all of this within just 2.5 years of our inception.
What are the game-changing decisions you took as a leader for your company?
Adding more courses to our platform (NEET SS, UG & PG CURRICULUM) have been game-changing. It helped us secure a competitive edge and join students in their journey of becoming a doctor to completing their super specialization.
