The Journey of APL Apollo till Now
Today, APL Apollo is one of the fastest-growing brands that responds, acts, executes, and capitalises on any fast-emerging opportunity to gain first mover advantage. It has started with 10000 metric tons production capacity per annum and over the years, APL Apollo has transformed to 4 million tons production capacity per Year Company.

When they entered the market then the market was only about round and circular pipes. APL Apollo thought of how to differentiate and they started manufacturing square and rectangular structural steel tubes, which replaced the conventional products like steel angle & channel and wooden structure and aluminium profile. One such innovative product from the stove of APL Apollo is Navrang. It is the world’s first narrow and colour coated sheet which is completely new concept of purlin. It is revolutionary change in the history of PEB and first ever option of pre painted galvanized and galvalume options for purlins.

The way forward for APL Apollo is to be able to keep innovating and create a new market for their products. They are aiming at their new range of 1000/1000 heavy structural steel tubes and thicker colour coated sheet with 1m.m thickness, after the Raipur facility is commissioned. This plant is coming up with a 1.5 million tonne capacity. APL Apollo is going to produce 100% value-added products there. APL Apollo also has a plan for expansion that includes constructing new plants. The ultimate objective of the company is to emerge as a one-stop shop for the largest spectrum of structural steel tubes and to attain the pole position, which will create sustainable value for all stakeholders. They expect those innovative products will surely shoot up their revenue and profit margin.
The company’s target date is 2025 and he hoped to be 4 million tonnes of sales by then, with a capacity of 5 million tonnes.
