To create a new user experience, this effort uses three already existing base components: Offline KYC VerificationLocal face matching and mAadhaar application.

Residents who voluntarily use offline KYC with Two Factor Authentication may be able to access multiple services simultaneously. “These proposed features are proof-of-concept, and will undergo intensive consultation with all stakeholders, including the public and experts. These initiatives will be finalized after due consultation and following necessary rules and protocols; and once finalized allow residents to voluntarily use their information to avail the services,” the PIB press release said.
