Annual Information Statement (AIS) has a complete perspective of the taxpayer information provided Form 26AS, new information included AISIncluding information on interest, dividends, securities transactions, mutual fund transactions, foreign remittances, and much more.

Filing of returns has been made easy by the provision of a streamlined Taxpayer Information Summary (TIS). taxpayers AIS will be able to upload data online and download data in PDF, JSON and CSV formats.

How to view Annual Information Statement?

Answer. You can access the Annual Information Statement functionality by following the steps given below: Step 1: Login to the URL https://www.incometax.gov.in/.

Step 2: Click on “Annual Information Statement (AIS)” under “Services” tab

Step 3: On clicking ‘Proceed’ button, you will be redirected to AIS homepage

Step 4: Click on AIS Tab

Step 4: Select the relevant financial year and click on the ‘Download’ tab

Step 5: Click on AIS Download option PDF to view or download Annual Information Statement.

What is the password to open Annual Information Statement (AIS)

The PDF you download will be password protected. To open the file you need to enter PAN in lower case and either date of incorporation or formation for non-individual taxpayers or date of birth for individual taxpayers in ddmmyyyy format.

For example, if your PAN is ABCDE1234A and your date of birth is January 21, 1991, your password would be abcde1234a21011991.
