Canara Bank saving account Customers can earn 2.90 percent Rate of interest per annum on their deposits. This interest rate is applicable on savings accounts with an outstanding balance of less than Rs. 50 lakhs and between Rs. 50 lakhs and below Rs. 100 crores.

Canara Bank has increased the savings account interest rates for savings accounts above Rs 100 crore. The bank has reduced the savings account rate for outstanding amount of Rs 100 crore by 5 basis points to Rs 500 crore, the bank offers an interest rate of 3.10 per cent after the increase.

Canara Bank will now offer 3.40 percent interest rate on outstanding savings account of less than 500 crores to 1000 crores. The rate of interest on savings account balance is Rs. 1000 crore and above by the bank by 5 basis points to 3.55 per cent. (These rates are effective from June 29, 2022)
