By paying a fee of Rs 30 for the printing of Aadhaar service, residents can get their print e-Aadhaar Using biometric authentication. The facility is helpful for residents whose mobile number is not registered in Aadhaar, UIDAI said through an office memorandum issued on August 17, 2022.

Additionally, residents have complained to UIDAI about difficulty in getting their Aadhaar numbers, which arose in connection with prior enrollment. As per the Office Memorandum, “To provide assistance to residents in such cases, there is a provision of Find Aadhaar functionality in the client, where the resident’s Aadhaar number can be tracked using demographic details and biometric authentication. One-time Aadhaar Once the number is tracked, the operator can download and provide the print of the e-Aadhaar to the resident (fees @ 30/-).
Within 15 days of issuance of this letter, all registrars are asked to ensure that RD devices (one fingerprint scanner and single iris device) are available at all Aadhaar enrollment centres.
