A new toll-free number has been launched to help customers carry out banking transactions conveniently from their homes without visiting the bank.

Note that the customer’s mobile number should be registered with the bank to avail these services.

As per SBI’s latest tweet, “Say goodbye to all your banking worries! Call the toll-free SBI Sampark Kendra on 1800 1234 or 1800 2100.

The banking services that can be availed by calling the toll-free number are:

  • Account Balance / Last 5 Transactions
  • ATM card blocking and dispatch status,
  • check book dispatch status,
  • TDS statement and interest certificate deposited by e-mail
  • Request for new ATM card after blocking the previous one

According to the bank’s website, the toll free number of the second number:

  • 1800 11 2211
  • 1800 425 3800
  • Toll Number: 080-26599990

To report unauthorized electronic transactions:

  • 1800 11 1109 (Toll Free)
  • 94491 12211 (Mobile Number, Toll Free)

If your mobile number is not registered or you want to register your new number, you can do so by following simple steps.

Register for SBI Phone Banking using ATM

Step 1: Swipe your SBI ATM card and select “Registration” from the menu options.

Step 2: On the next screen, enter “SBI ATM PIN” and select “Phone Banking Registration”.

Step 3: On the screen, enter the registered phone number and click on “Correct”.

Step 4: After completing the registration, a six digit password will be issued on the registered mobile number.

How to register number online?

Once you have logged in to “Online SBI”, select “eServices” and then “State Bank Freedom” from the list on the left. Make sure the MPIN is updated before this action, and you get a notification indicating that handset verification is over.

Select “Registration” from the menu options above. The user of OnlineSBI will see a list of enabled accounts. to enable mobile banking Select the service, account (SB/CA only) and then submit as per SBI website.
