To provide a personalized experience to the customers, State Bank of India (SBI) announced the launch of its next generation Contact Center service.

According to a SBI press release, the bank will now offer 30+ financial options that will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the convenience of home, and will be offered in 12 languages.

Presently, the Contact Center serves 12 languages ​​which include Hindi, English, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Gujarati, Assamese and Punjabi.

To further streamline the process, the Bank has developed easy to remember 4-digit toll-free numbers (1800-1234 or 1800-2100).

As per SBI’s press release, “Customers can avail services related to accounts, ATM cards and check books, emergency services (ATM card or digital channel blocking), access and support of digital products, product information etc. The bank has Provided all customer support representatives with revised, simplified scripts and soft skill training capabilities to effectively resolve most banking queries on call.In future, the Bank aims to embed advanced AI/ML-based technologies, including Conversational IVR and voice bots are included.”

According to the SBI website, “Please contact SBI’s 24X7 helpline numbers i.e. 1800 1234 (Toll-Free), 1800 11 2211 (Toll-Free), 1800 425 3800 (Toll-Free), 1800 2100 (Toll-Free) or 080- Call on. 26599990. Toll free numbers are available from all landlines and mobile phones in the country.”
