The interest rates will start from 6.95% and will be linked to the CIBIL credit score.

Apart from the two wheeler loan, the bank has launched another green loan scheme for rooftop solar system. It will be available under concessional interest rates for installation of grid connected rooftop solar systems in individual households in residential area. The third green product is the Union Green Deposit, a fixed deposit that can only be opened digitally and the proceeds of which will be used for green loans.

The green schemes were launched on the occasion of 103rd Foundation Day of the bank on 11th November. During the foundation day event, the bank’s MD & CEO Rajkiran Rai also announced the launch of digital self-service branches and the launch of WhatsApp Banking. The bank has also upgraded its Finacle software to provide display and printing in 13 Indian languages.
