The platform, currently, offers its warehousing management solutions to over 7,200 warehouses and manages over 96 million stock-keeping units (SKUs) across various sectors such as FMCG, beauty and wellness, fashion and accessories, and eyewear .
In addition, the integrated order, inventory and warehouse management platform processes more than 20% of India’s e-commerce volume with more than 1 million daily transactions and a GMV annual run rate of over $5 billion, according to the company.
“By March 2023, more than 8,000 warehouses will take advantage of Unicommerce’s warehouse management platform, while more than 7,200 warehouses are already operational,” the company said in a release.
It added that companies have deployed Unicommerce’s Warehouse Management Solutions to manage and automate all workflows in the warehouse including procurement, packing, dispatch as well as warehouse management.
As e-commerce has gained momentum in the country, many new categories and business models have emerged in the last two years. According to the release, Unicommerce’s ability to help D2C brands expand their operations across multiple warehouses has seen it emerge as a major player in the space.

The SaaS platform is designed to ensure seamless integration of multiple warehouses and enable automatic order allocation at the warehouse closest to consumers, along with managing return orders in the warehouse, according to the company.
“As industry models evolve and companies venture into multiple sectors, a platform like ours is playing an increasingly important role in transforming supply chain technology. In addition to significant new customer acquisition, our growth is fueled by our existing customers as their new customers. The solution has been deployed for warehouses spread across the country,” Unicommerce CEO Kapil Makhija said.
Unicommerce also recently announced plans to increase its workforce by 50% to support its expansion plans.
