Pension Disbursing Authority
Life certificate can be filed by the Pension Disbursing Authority (PDA) if the pensioner is physically present before the PDA.
Sign by Designated Officer
The personal presence of the pensioner will not be required, if the pensioner submits the Life Certificate Form signed by a ‘Designated Officer’. As per para 14.3 of the plan booklet issued by the CPAO, a pensioner who produces a life certificate signed by the specified persons in the prescribed form is exempted from personal appearance. The list of designated officers to sign the life certificate as per the plan book of the CPAO is attached as Annexure-I.
Jeevan Pramaan Portal
