Tata AIA Life Insurance has expanded online medical consultation through Practo to newly eligible consumers of specific products, it said in a statement.
As part of the alliance, Tata AIA consumers can avail online medical consultations from verified doctors anytime, anywhere.
The life insurer said the tie-up goes far beyond the traditional insurance approach which is limited to efficient claim settlement.
As part of the benefits, an eligible subscriber can avail up to 48 teleconsultations per year for various medical conditions.
This includes assistance for common ailments like cold, fever and injury, so that they can get immediate medical guidance from the safe and comfortable environment of their home.

Earlier, Tata AIA Life has collaborated with Practo to provide digitally enabled healthcare benefits, medical aids and services to its employees and consultants.
