“I do not see any quick resolution for the Srei group companies. We are exploring all other options to recover the dues,” he said on Friday. He said that even though potential investors for Srei’s resolution plan make their bids within the extended deadline of August 10, a resolution is unlikely to happen before December given procedural issues.
UCO’s Prasad said the lenders will explore selling the assets to ARC if they get a better recovery opportunity.
On the request of potential bidders for resolution of Shrey, the lenders have extended the deadline for submission of bids till August 10. Arena Investor, Verde Partners And another potential bidder is said to be actively considering submitting separate bids.
