The French SaaS startup has also acquired two other ecommerce marketing companies, Chatra And matrilo, for a combined deal worth more than $47 million, but a substantial portion of the cash was spent buying PushOwl. PushOwl founder Shashank Kumar will continue to lead the company, and will join the Sendinblue leadership team as Vice President-Products.
“The acquisition of PushAll, Metrilo, Chatra is part of Sendinblu’s long-term vision to expand our marketing capabilities and dive into the growing e-commerce space,” said Sendinblu CEO Armand Thiberg. “Now, our all-in-one digital marketing solution will become even more powerful, helping these businesses accelerate sales and make strategic business decisions.”
The acquisition comes 11 months after SendinBlue’s $160 million Series B funding round to drive product expansion and growth in the North American market. PushOwl works with e-commerce brands like Culture Kings, Sugar Cosmetics, Lang Beauty and Vital Proteins to name a few.
Kumar said, “SendinBlue is a leader in marketing automation and with this acquisition, we will be able to enhance ecommerce marketing and create a product that customers really love, add value, and ultimately simplify omnichannel marketing. Huh.” “It will be a game-changer for traders.”
