How to Register for USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data)
according to State Bank Of India Below are the simple steps to register to avail free mobile fund transfer using the website, USSD.
: I. Send an SMS to 9223440000. User ID and default MPIN will be sent as a response to the above SMS.
ii. Change Default MPIN :- Dial *595#
– Enter User ID and option 4. choose
– Enter old MPIN (default MPIN received over SMS for first time user) and send
– Enter a new MPIN of your choice (6 characters/digits) and send
– Confirm and send new MPIN.
– You will get a response
– “Your MPIN has changed”.
iii. Register at ATM / Internet Banking / Branch
At ATM: Swipe Debit Card, Mobile Registration > . choose mobile banking >Registration > Enter your mobile number and confirm –
OnlineSBI: Log in to OnlineSBI, select e-Services> State Bank Freedom from the list on the left> Registration> Enter User ID and Mobile Number> Select the account to be enabled (SB/CA only)> Submit .
To add more accounts, visit the primary account or the home branch of other accounts. – At Branch: Go to the home branch of your account.
