Many banks offer doorstep banking Services to its clients especially senior citizens and disabled clients. state Bank of India ,State Bank Of India) has announced that it will now allow customers with disabilities to avail door-to-door benefits banking services Free three times a month.

As per SBI’s latest tweet, “SBI at your doorstep!!! For Divyang customers, SBI is here to provide free “Door Step Banking Services” 3 times in a month. Know More – https://bank.sbi /dsb”

These are the services available through doorstep banking facility:

• Cash pickup.
• cash distribution.
• check pickup
• Check demand slip pickup.
• Form 15H Pickup.
• Draft delivery.
• Delivery of Fixed Deposit Advice
• Life certificate pickup.
• KYC document pickup.

Doorstep banking services are available at select branches.

SBI Doorstep Banking features

• Registration will have to be done in home branch
• Cash withdrawal and deposit transactions are limited to a daily maximum of Rs 20,000.
• The bank will charge a service fee of Rs. 60 + GST ​​for non-financial transactions and Rs. 100 + GST ​​for financial transactions.
• Checks or withdrawal forms will be accepted along with passbook for withdrawal.
• Delivery will be done with utmost care, but not earlier than T+1 working day (Except Holidays).

Who cannot avail door-to-door banking services:

• Joint accounts operated jointly, former / survivor and later / survivor
• Accounts of minors with guardianship
• Accounts operated through Power of Attorney
• Non-KYC compliant accounts and inactive accounts.
• Savings Bank Accounts Opened under MACT Claims/Lisa
• NRI / Foreign National Account Holder

• Accounts with status as Stop and/or Hold
• illiterate customer

According to the SBI website, service requests can be made at the center between 9 am to 4 pm on toll free number 1800 1111 03.

How SBI Customers Can Book Doorstep Banking Through YONO App

Step 1: Open SBI YONO App and login

Step 2: Go to Service Request Menu

Step 3: Choose Doorstep Banking Service

Step 4: Click on Request for Check Pickup or Cash Pickup

Customers who intend to use doorstep banking should ensure that they will not pay anything for the services to the agent. Customers should provide any information to DSA including account number, account details, ATM card/PIN details etc.
