NS Reserve bank Approved the reappointment of Thursday Amitabh Choudhary As Managing Director of private sector Axis Bank for a period of three years.

Axis Bank said in a regulatory filing that the extended three-year period would be effective from January 1, 2022. ”NS reserve Bank of India Through its letter dated October 14, 2021, it has approved the reappointment of Amitabh Choudhary as the Managing Director and CEO of the bank with effect from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024.

The bank’s board had in April approved extension of his tenure for a further period of three years, subject to regulatory approval.
