“Due to network error in Paytm, some of you may face problem logging in paytm money app/website. We are already working on fixing this issue as soon as possible. We will update you as soon as it is resolved,” read a tweet on Paytm Money’s handle.
Many traders are demanding compensation for losses in F&O (futures and options) due to the crash of Paytm Money during market hours.
Acknowledging the issues, the firm said in another tweet, “We understand that some of our trading and F&O users may have faced genuine issues with their trades and positions. Always have a pat on your back and be fair and transparent.” In our continued efforts, we request you to write to us with your concerns at email at [email protected].”
Paytm said, “We had a problem and we sincerely want to help. We are working hard to ensure that such external issues do not recur. Thanks again for your support.”
Several users on Twitter said that they are unable to log in to the Paytm app and website to make payments.
One social media user wrote, “@paytm Even after many first transactions, sometimes we are getting the first transaction of Rs 5000 in UPI error message.”
Another user tweeted, “Please humbly request @RBI@RBI to kindly take strict action against paytm, paytm, remove paytm worst services, please remove paytm services, no customer service, no money’s Stolen data theft #Paytm.”
One user also asked for customer support. “@PaytmMoney please provide customer support for paytm money without login. Not able to login today and not able to comply and it’s expired today. eg. Zarodha, Geojit You please open offices in all cities. and provide offline email care support when the network is released.”
