Her pain was the trigger for the idea of creating a unique air purifier, that applies green technology driven by the AI automation and monitoring process.

On this women’s day, we are happy to share the story of Nidhi Rana and her entrepreneurial journey. Nidhi has always been keen on working for unique ideas and technology that adds value to society. She says, working on the same model or same product line has never been her cup of tea. Throughout her professional career of long 14 years, she was working with several reputed companies like Ernst & Young, JLL, she has been researching several projects. So, she always had the bug to create something different and do things differently.

The Pain Point- The Trigger

Initially, she saw her grandmother suffering from severe asthma, and things went unbearable when she was handling her son’s deteriorating health due to severe pollen allergy that has forced her to think in a different direction. There in her research started. She kept on studying and researching how the air purifiers work, and how much impact it makes on human life. But the results were disappointing. That is where Nidhi Rana along with her professional partner Shashi Kumar launched patented natural air purifiers. The best part is these units are of low maintenance, budget-friendly, made with go green concept and moreover it is made in India!

Product Lines

There are two product lines one for home named Baby Lite and another for corporate workplace Just Breathe Station.

What was the biggest challenge she faced till now?

People are not aware of the basic functionalities of how nature works, and how one can make the best use of it. Bringing awareness to the society/people that something like this exists is a big challenge that we are facing each day.  It is not only awareness in form of the existence of such environment-friendly products but also educating them what are the after-effects of their current choices is a huge task as of now.

What makes her feel good and proud?

We are the inspiration for young entrepreneurs, startups to grow in an ambitious, yet healthy way. We are proud to receive design and process patent certification. We are proud to say that Be in Nature’ Just Breathe is the product of India. Our product was awarded the Brand Impact Award in 2021 for our Solution.

What is your contribution to Nature?

Just Breathe Air Purifier helps to make the indoor healthier with every passing day, without using any plastic or fiberglass HEPA FILTERS and is saving Mother Nature from further degradation because of plastic disposal turning into landfills and toxic trash heaps and periodic replacement of most conventional air purifiers filters, adds to the carbon footprint too.

What is the response you are receiving for the product line?

Nidhi says, “We started our operations in March 2020, in a span of fewer than two years, we are providing more than 17000 lives with healthy breath per day and covering around 500,000 sq. ft with our commercial units and 40 homes with domestic ones.”

Are you planning to raise funds for your venture?

We are trying out several opportunities. Our product is a patented one and we are confident that investors investing will be befitted with a good profit margin.

What Nidhi does do when she is free?

In her leisure time, Nidhi loves to spend quality time with her family and son.

What is the source of energy for Nidhi?

She is a marathon runner and fitness enthusiast.

Any advice for the young aspirants and budding entrepreneurs?
