According to the data, Rs 30,019 crore were taken as loans under the Mudra scheme till June 2022 by more than 52 lakh borrowers in Maharashtra. Of this, Rs 4,898 crore taken by 6.19 lakh borrowers is classified as NPA.
The outstanding loan amount in Parbhani district is Rs 759 crore, out of which Rs 459 crore has been constituted NPASaid it.
According to the data, Parbhani is followed by Hingoli at 33.31 per cent NPA, with loans outstanding of Rs 111 crore.
The third largest currency NPA is in state capital Mumbai at 29.97 per cent and the outstanding amount is Rs 248 crore, the data said.
It said that out of the total sour loans of Rs 4,898 crore, a dozen public sector banks have Rs 4,031 crore in their accounts.
The NPAs of private sector banks stood at Rs 435 crore. According to the data, two regional rural banks have NPAs of Rs 325 crore and eight small finance banks have NPAs of Rs 104 crore.
