The fund retains the broad principles of its older sibling- Amazing Asset Large Cap and Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip – with an emphasis on quality of earnings, without overpaying. Although it lies at the intersection of the two propositions in terms of market cap positioning, the fund borrows more ideas from Emerging Bluechips managed by the same fund manager. However, it gives more weightage to large caps as compared to mid cap ideas of the same fund. The fund’s portfolio has expanded but its top bet remains a large position. It has reiterated the fund house’s impressive track record of outperformance within a short span of time, but has seen a decline over the last year. Investors can take advantage of the proven capabilities of its fund manager to steer the fund in the right direction.
