Doorstep banking is also offered through Alliance, which has 12 public sector banks and offers “doorstep banking” to its customers in 100 major cities across the country. The service of collecting life certificate is provided by PSB Alliance under the guise of doorstep banking. A DSB agent will come to the pensioner’s doorstep to provide the service. Pensioners can also submit life certificates using the face authentication technology system based on UIDAI Aadhaar software.
