India is poised to become the largest digital market with the rapid expansion of mobile and internet networks, which can be leveraged to make it a hub, Minister of Commerce and Industry. Piyush Goyal Said.

“It can be used to create a fintech hub,” he said while addressing, Global Fintech Fest, on Thursday.

Goyal said that fintech services are empowering the poorest.

He said that India was one of the fastest growing fintech markets and we had many fintech unicorns.

The Minister said that the industry should utilize local talent to produce products that are marketable globally.
