To update or link a phone number with Aadhaar, people had to visit specific bank branches or post offices. However, now the process has been simplified. As per IPPB’s official tweet: “Updating your mobile number in Aadhaar is mandatory to receive important information. If you haven’t updated, rest easy! Customers can place service requests during the time period mentioned below:

Service Delivery Hours:
The request can be extended from minimum T+2 to maximum T+10.
A customer can choose the time slot for providing the service between 11:00 AM to 4 PM on the specified date.
doorstep banking fee
- As per the IPPB website, the charges for doorstep banking are given below.
- Flat 20*/- plus GST per door visit per customer served more than 1 km from post office.
- There is no limit on the number of transactions during the DSB journey for a single customer (CIF). If the service is served to another customer during the same visit, it is considered a separate DSB delivery and is chargeable.
- Charges applicable to individual products or services received during the DSB visit shall be as per the “Schedule of Charges” and shall be in addition to the DSB fee.
