Bangalore: hero weed, ns education technology unit of Hero GroupLtd. has launched a Business-to-Business (B2B) arm called “Wired for Business” to make employees skilled.

The company told ET on Tuesday that around 250 learners have signed up for this offer so far.

Hero Wired for Business Assists enterprises in upskilling employees, acquiring talent, recruiting new employees, implementing internal learning programs and establishing internal knowledge academies. It offers a curriculum in areas such as full-stack development, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, finance and fintech, game design and leadership, entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.

“The need to continuously upgrade employees is a pain point experienced by every HR and business leader. Hero Wired for Business offers the perfect solution to that puzzle,” said Srikrishnan V, Vice President (Enterprise Business) Hero Wired he said. “Through the bespoke programs we create for organizations, they can enhance and groom their employees’ career paths. The next big thing.”

Hero Group launches Hero Weird, targeting students who have completed schooling. The platform offers interactive support, peer-to-peer communication and engagement-driven online instructor-led classes. The edtech startup has partnered with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge and New York-based Codecademy for its courses.

The investment in Hero Wired came from the parent company, the founding CEO Akshay Munjali Said in April. “The (Munjal) family has supported the venture worth over $10 million. It’s one of the cool things about being part of a bigger group. You don’t have to worry about your bank balance. Hero Group entered the education sector in 1964. The company established BML Munjal University in Gurugram in 2014.
