“We wish to inform you that as per the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of HDFC Bank, in its meeting held today, has recommended to the Reserve Bank of India the re-designation of Kaizad Bharucha from the present designation. Executive Director ( Whole Time Director) to the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank for a period of three years, as may be approved by the RBI and subsequently by the shareholders of the Bank.”
Bharucha is a career banker with over 35 years of experience and has been associated with the bank since 1995. In his current position as Executive Director, he is responsible for Wholesale Banking covering the areas of Corporate Banking, PSU, Capital & Commodity Markets, Financials. Institution, custody, mutual fund, global center of competence and financial sponsor coverage, and bank coverage.
Bhavesh Jhaveri is the Group Head – Operations, Cash Management and ATM Products at HDFC Bank. In his current role, he is responsible for the business and operations across the country.
