Mumbai: Pune based EV charging infra startup goegonetwork has set up its electric vehicle charging facility at Kaza in Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, making it the world’s highest point EV Charging Station, said in a release on Saturday. GoEgoNetwork said the Bharat AC and Dual Socket Type 2 chargers, which have been installed by the company in the Western Himalayas, have Make-in-India certification and comply with ARAI and OCA certification, and will cater to all EV scooters and cars.

The company said its objective, which is in line with the government’s vision of becoming a 100 percent EV nation by 2030, is to encourage EV owners to enjoy the benefits of seamless and worry-free long distance travel.

As part of this, GoEgoNetwork is committed to setting up public charging stations in all popular destinations in the country, the company said without giving specifics.
