Glamplus is the brainchild of these three musketeers- Mr. Rohan Singh (COO), Divyanshu Singh (CEO) and Vatsalya Agarwal (CTO). Things were going great for these 3 until the bug of entrepreneurship bit them. Rohan was working as Business Head for Transit Logistics; Divyanshu was working as Senior Director in Pagarbook and Vatsalya Agarwal was working as Senior Software Engineer for Khoros. These 3 innovators with a mission of creating something out-of-the-box have given their heart and soul to develop this venture. India’s salon industries are very much underrated. If the sector is given adequate assistance and supervision with government support, it can be a huge pool for employment and also would be a substantial wealth generation option.
The Idea behind Glamplus
The Idea got its birth on a normal haircut day, where there were many like them waiting for their turn and that was the eureka moment for them when they thought of building a seamless platform to simplify the whole process.

Starting from a team of 3 back in 2020 amidst the pandemic chaos to an impeccable pack close to a hundred as of today, consistency and belief is the only core capital. Now the thought was, that the availability of Top-notch beauty products is still a dream for most salons and that is where the disruptive idea came into existence. So, the challenge was to make it B2B. Acquisition of the right technology was a major challenge that was encountered during the initial phase. Building a team is a cakewalk, but accommodating the right skill set and mindset is impenetrable. And the efforts paid off here in the most bona fide manner in both aspects.

Glamplus is a B2B SAAS-enabled platform in the beauty and wellness space to digitize the $200bn economies of Salons, Spas, and Gyms in India and the South-East Asia market. Glamplus’ journey started back in July 2020 during a casual breakfast discussion. The journey started with 1 salon partner in October 2020 to more than 500 salon partners by April 2021 spreading across 4 cities- Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, and Patna. Our mission is to tap more than 1 lakh salons in the next 2 years using technology. Glamplus is a mobile+web-based platform that provides unified integrated services ranging from a curated beauty products marketplace, CRM for customer engagement, and ERP for managing staff in this SMB segment.
The unpredictability that prevailed in the environment during the Covid 19 pandemic, led to the extinction of a lot of companies, mainly start-ups. This was the exact point where Rohan Singh, Divyanshu Singh, and Vatsalya Agarwal had a pitch that now has become the fastest growing SaaS-based start-up. The lockdown indeed took a toll on the availability of certain major necessities and opting for salon services was one among them. It was hectic for a customer to get an appointment and likewise for the salon owners to give one. This was the striking point that led to a pitch: Developing a SaaS-based product, which could streamline processes for the customers and systemize the product-related issues of the beauty industry.
Glamplus is aiming to be a one-stop solution for the PAN India presence for all SME salon owners. The company is educating and habituating the owners with hands-on experience of using the SaaS platform to manage their business and increase sales.
As time passed by there has been a revolutionary change in the beauty and wellness industry. Consumers are ready for new experiments and are exploring new trends. Companies are emphasizing customer experience which is resulting in a higher lead conversion ratio.

Challenges
Talking about real-life challenges while operating on the ground, Rohan says, “Being a SaaS-based start-up adopting the right and hustle-free technology was a substantial hurdle. Developing an apt software, yet making it affordable for all the salons was a big challenge for us. No matter how innovative and profit-yielding the product is, having the right human capital to support impacts the business on a different level. This was the next challenge for us.”
The founders revealed that funding was a matter of concern but the major challenge was developing the right technology that is comparatively economic friendly, hustle free, and user friendly.
