The bank will now offer an interest rate of 2.25% for savings accounts below Rs 1 lakh and an interest rate of 4.00% for savings accounts balance between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh. According to DCB Bank’s website, interest will now be paid at the rate of 5.00% in savings accounts of Rs 2 lakh to less than Rs 5 lakh and at the rate of 6.00% for balances between Rs 5 lakh and less than Rs 10 lakh. ,

DCB Bank will now pay 6.75% interest on savings account balance of less than Rs 10 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. Savings account balance between Rs 25 lakh and less than Rs 2 crore will earn a maximum interest rate of 7%. Savings accounts will now attract interest at the rate of 5.50% on balances between Rs 2 crore and Rs 50 crore. It is 5.00% on balance amount of Rs 50 crore and above.

The above rates are applicable for Resident, NRE and NRO Savings Bank Account.

According to DCB Bank’s website, “Interest will be calculated on the basis of clear balance in the account at the end of the day and will be paid quarterly.”
