Private Bank has tied up with Shriram General Insurance To distribute insurance products across 727 branches of the bank in the country, senior officials of both the companies said at a press conference here today.

He said Shriram General CEO Anil Agarwal said the insurer is on a drive to cut the claim settlement time, which is 24 days from the date of the accident.

City Union Bank had a total business of Rs 88,846 crore at the end of March, taking the total assets of the bank to Rs 6550 crore, a release said. Sriram General’s assets stood at Rs 10,828 crore at the end of March this year, with over 41 lakh live policies.
