Flipkart is filling its shopping cart. Yes, you read that right. Flipkart is expanding its horizontal market to include more categories, and is aggressively diversifying into new areas through investments and acquisitions. The Walmart-owned company’s long and arduous efforts to rid itself of dependence on two categories—consumer electronics and fashion—have assumed a sense of urgency with the noise around it.
