According to the Assocham statement, the minister said that it would be an honor for India if every poor of the country has his own house and basic facilities like roti, cloth and house are available.
However, Kishor said the procedures need to be simplified to enable this.

“According to an estimate, there are around 1,36,000 bank branches across the country. If applicants get easy housing loans from these banks, then the task of providing houses to all will also become easier,” he said.
