Despite amassing a large corpus, the fund continues to run a very compact portfolio of high conviction ideas. The fund manager is comfortable taking outside positions in different bets relative to the index. he chooses shares Which fits within a strict quality framework, even if it means paying a slight premium. While this strategy helped top the charts between 2018-2020, the fund’s performance has clearly deteriorated as market preferences shifted in line with other styles. The fund may be going through a weak phase, but it has demonstrated the ability to deliver healthy results over a long period of time in alternative bouts of under and outperformance.
