axis Bank Fixed deposits (FDs) have increased Rate of interest For certain periods (for amounts less than Rs 2 crore), with effect from July 16, 2022.

The interest rates for FDs from 6 months to less than 7 months and for FDs of less than 8 months to 9 months have been increased by 25 basis points from 4.40 percent to 4.65 percent.

According to the Axis Bank website, there has been no change in the interest rates for other FD tenors.

Deposits maturing in less than one year, 25 days to 15 months will retain the interest rate of 5.60 per cent. Deposits maturing in less than 15 months to less than two years will continue to earn 5.60 per cent. The bank offers an interest rate of 5.75 per cent on deposits maturing in one year, 11 days to one year and 25 days.
