According to a PIB press release dated October 11, 2022, “Individuals who had got their Aadhaar generated ’10’ years ago and never updated thereafter in these years, such aadhar number Holders are requested to get the documents updated.
“Accordingly, in this regard, UIDAI Provides document update facility to Aadhaar number holders with prescribed fee through which Aadhaar number holder can update Proof of Personal Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents in Aadhaar data. This facility can be accessed online through MYA Aadhaar Card (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/) or residents can also visit any nearest Enrollment Center to avail the same. Huh.
According to a recent tweet by UIDAI, “You can easily update demographic details (name, date of birth, gender, address) online.”

How to update details in Aadhaar?
As per the UIDAI website, there are 2 different ways to update your details:-
By visiting the Permanent Enrollment Centre. Find the nearest enrollment center by clicking on “Locate Enrollment Center” at uidai.gov.in.
Online using Self Service Update Portal (SSUP). Click on “Update Aadhaar Details (Online)” at uidai.gov.in.
Charges involved for updating Aadhaar details
You have to pay the service provider Rs. 50 (inclusive of taxes) every time you update your details for Aadhaar, be it biometric or demographic
