axis Bank Fixed deposit (FD) interest rates for amounts below Rs 2 crore have been hiked once again by up to 75 basis points on select tenures. The new rates are effective from October 14, 2022. the bank had earlier increased FD Rates On 1 October 2022 after the RBI hike in the repo rate.

The bank has increased the interest rates on fixed deposits maturing in 7 days by 75 basis points (bps) from 2.75% to 3.50% and on fixed deposits maturing in 30 days from 3.25 to 60 days. ,

For fixed deposits maturing in 61 days to less than 3 months, the interest rate has been increased from 3.25% to 4%

For deposits of 3-6 months, the interest rate has been increased to 4.25% from 3.75% earlier – an increase of 25 basis points. The bank will now offer an interest rate of 5% on fixed deposits maturing in 6 months to less than a year and 6.10% on fixed deposits maturing in one year to 15 months.

The bank will continue to offer 6.15% for FDs maturing in 15 months to less than two years.

After the hike, Axis Bank will now offer an interest rate of 6.20% on fixed deposits maturing in 2 years to less than 3 years and 6.10% on fixed deposits maturing in 3 years, 25 days to less than 10 years Will do

Axis Bank has also increased the interest rates on NRE and FCNR deposits.

Senior Citizen FD Interest Rates

The bank has also increased certain tenure FD interest rates for senior citizens. Senior citizens can now earn FD interest rates between 3.50% and 6.90% for amounts less than Rs 2 crore.
