New Delhi: Head of Education Technology byju’s On Wednesday, it announced the acquisition of the Austria-headquartered GeoGebra.

“This acquisition complements Byju’s overall product strategy and integrates GeoGebra’s capabilities into its existing math portfolio to enable the creation of new product offerings and learning formats,” the company said in a statement.

As part of the deal, GeoGebra will continue to operate as an independent entity within Byju’s Group led by its founder and developer, Markus Hohenwerter.

GeoGebra, with an expanding community of more than 100 million learners in more than 195 countries, is a dynamic, interactive and collaborative math learning tool, it added.
