The process of settlement of claims can be accelerated by linking your Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) account with Aadhaar. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has taken several steps in this direction. As per the unified portal of EPFO, if you want to submit EPF claim online, you will have to mandatorily link your UAN with Aadhaar.

Though it is not mandatory, linking your Aadhaar with pension account will make it easier for government officials to verify all your details. Your Aadhaar can be linked with pension account both online or offline.

Accelerated Digital Life Certificate

Every year, pensioners have to provide a Life Certificate to the Pension Disbursing Authority to maintain their pension. However, Aadhaar based Jeevan Pramaan service now makes it possible to submit Digital Life Certificate (DLC) online. It is a digital service for state or national government pensioners which is biometric enabled.
