according to reserve Bank of India calendar, there will be 14 in total Bank holiday Next month which includes 2nd and 4th Saturday and weekend Sunday.
There are some important festivals in January like New Year, Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, Missionary Day, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Makar Sankranti, Pongal, Republic Day etc. Note that banks will not remain closed on all these days in all states. Many of these holidays are region specific.
