Mumbai: 10Club, which previously acquired, operates and develops e-commerce businesses, has acquired fitness equipment maker scudgear, at a time when Thresio-style ventures are gaining traction in India amid an increase in the number of direct-to-consumer brands.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. US-based Thracio is the world’s largest acquirer of third-party private label businesses heroine.with.

Founded by IIM Kashipur graduate Raviteja Visakoti and her brother Ritihish, Scudgear manufactures health, fashion and smartphone accessories and sells them on its website and Amazon India Marketplace, where it has listed 400 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs).
